GFI started its business on September 1st 1997 with a 6 Million share capital issued and 50% paid. During the five months period ended December 31 1997, the remaining 50% unpaid share capital were called and fully paid at January 1998. At March 1998 GFI increased its capital to 10 Million by issuing 4 Million rights issue shares.The virtuous results, which is achieved up to end of June 2002 as a parent and a group, considering the tightening of liquidity in the market and the rising cost of funds, reflects the healthy base for the company and the proficient of its management.
